I guess it’s about time I said a bite or two about who you’re dealing with here.
Well, since I’m a lot better in writing than in talking – and, because I can’t fit you all into one telephone call, I’ll let written word do the talking.
So, who’s Ella?
My name’s not Ella. Don’t get me wrong, I’m fond of my real name, but I chose this name because it’s kinda sexy and it rolls over your tongue like “mmmmhhh!”, when you’ve just had a nice sip of wine or a creamy bit of pie.
The reason why I love writing is that you can create the feeling of a sip of nice wine in your mind, make people laugh out loud, or shed tears. And it has another quality as well. If something is bothering you and won’t leave you alone, it helps to write it down. This way you get another perspective of it.
Or when something spectacularly great happens to you: write it down and you can relive the pleasure every time you read it again. I’ve experienced it countless times.
So that’s the one part. The writing.
The other thing is the cooking.
Over the years I’ve found how liberating it is to create a meal on your own, to try different ingredients and mix them in your own way. And if the result happens to be tasty: all the better! 🙂
There are only a handful of you around so far, but that won’t bring me down. Just so you know: I was born the same year that man set foot on the moon for the first time. So that might help to make me reach for the stars… 😉
That’s the deal. Only the name I use here is fake, the rest is not. That’s the real me. What you see is what you get.
I’m Ella. Welcome to my kitchen.
